Finally, there is a home for WrestleMania 41. On Saturday, April 19, and Sunday, April 20, 2025, in Las Vegas, is when WWE revealed that the yearly mega-event will take place. The NFL team, the Las Vegas Raiders, will host the event at Allegiant Stadium.
The formal announcement was made by WWE at the Kentucky Derby pre-race show on Saturday. Las Vegas was mentioned as the probable location of WrestleMania 41 in late August, but Minneapolis remained the front-runner until recently, according to reports that the WWE had narrowed down the possible host cities to Minneapolis and Las Vegas.
With WrestleMania IX taking place at Caesars Palace in 1993, this will be the second WrestleMania to be held in the Las Vegas area. Madison Square Garden in New York City hosted the first-ever WrestleMania in 1985.
In many respects, the occasion marked the pinnacle of Vince McMahon’s attempts to abolish the professional wrestling territorial structure and make WWE (then known as WWF) a powerful national brand.
In 2020, WrestleMania was extended to two nights due to the COVID-19 epidemic. While the event was staged in the WWE Performance Center in Orlando that year without any fans in attendance, WWE continued to use the two-night format in 2021 with a partially packed house before AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas hosted a full house for the 2022 version.
Philadelphia’s WrestleMania 40 in 2024 was a huge commercial and critical success. It was also the first WrestleMania without McMahon in attendance following his resignation from the organization amid claims of sex trafficking and sexual abuse and a lawsuit against the corporation.
